Dom & Chris Celebrate Friday the 13th With This Brand-New Stranger Things 2 Trailer

The final trailer for Stranger Things 2 is here. The world turns Upside Down on October 27. Thanks Rob for telling us that this exists.

Dom’s Take:

*deep breath*

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Netflix has blessed us with the final trailer for Stranger Things 2, appropriately on Friday the 13th – just two weeks before the new season premieres. We’re picking up about a year after the events of the first season, and it looks like Will Byers is going to play a huge part in unraveling the mythos behind the Upside Down and how it connects to the larger world. Judging by everything we’ve seen so far, the kids are going to have to enlist the help of friends, adults, and bullies alike to combat bigger, badder, upside-down-ier monsters to save their hometown of Hawkins.

This trailer has all the trappings of a show-stopping hit sequel that I’m sure is absolutely gonna blow all of our collective hypothetical dicks off, so needless to say I cannot fucking wait for October 27th. As an added bonus, here’s the show’s official synopsis and timeline courtesy of the good folks over at Collider:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

  • 1953, date unknown – MKUltra comes to Hawkins and begins experimentation
  • 1979 – Police Chief Jim Hopper returns to Hawkins
  • 1983, November 6 – The vanishing of Will Byers
  • 1983, November 8 – The vanishing of Barbara Holland

Chris’ Take:

This trailer has my dick harder than a prosthetic leg.

Let me just point out the elephant in the room, Will is fucked up and I cannot wait until he takes out the Demogorgon. But I also hope he doesn’t because then that means that show is over, right? Whatever, happens it’ll be sick. I was never big into Sci-Fi shows and movies but that all changed after watching Stanger Things. It is just so beautifully done and grabs you by the balls and doesn’t let you go until you finish (the show).

So a few things that I’ve been thinking about. Does Eleven have any limits to her powers? I mean, the bitch can kill people by looking at them. I guess looks really can kill (i’m dead inside). When she uses her powers it takes a lot out of her and she can’t do much until she rejuvenates.  So is this when Will steps in? Eleven going toe to toe with the Demogorgon and Will is all “Hold my beer, I got this” and just goes Stone Cold on that slimy prick. Will going back into the upside down is inevitable, can we all agree?

Side Note: I love the stack of Ego’s  @:12. The crew knows that she’s out there and they want her back, Some powerful shit right there.
