Cue the Duckboats: Liverpool Football Club Make Up HALF of FIFA 20’s Team of the Year

You might be shocked to see a sports game blog on here, and a FIFA one at that, but truth be told your boys at WGG are big sports guys. I myself have been a loyal Liverpool Football Club supporter for the last decade, so I’m absolutely overjoyed to see the Reds so well represented in FIFA 20’s FUT Team of the Year.

The reveal trailer itself features the best defender on planet earth, Virgil van Djik, who has been nothing short of world-class for Liverpool in the last year. The dominant Dutch national has been a huge (literal and figurative) component to Liverpool’s success over the last year, in which they’ve gone undefeated in the Premier League, and have registered more consecutive clean PL sheets since 2007.

Big Virg has been almost impenetrable, and Liverpool have conceded just one goal in the six PL games that both he and Joe Gomez have started in. This is to say nothing of the other four Liverpool delegates on FIFA’s Team of the Year, who have all undoubtedly been playing some of the best football of their young lives. Just another day at the Kop.

Oh, and Sadio Mane’s the greatest in the world. I don’t do ifs, buts, or maybes – I do absolutes. Just ask this guy.

YNWA.
