“We’ve had Call of Duty games played on virtually every console for the last 14 years,” he told Marketplace. “So the idea of having a game that centers around armed conflict through history…you never run out of ideas for Call of Duty games. There will always be Call of Duty games. And they’ll be played on a variety of devices.” – Gamespot
The Call of Duty series is one of the best string of games of all time. I don’t think there will be a time in my life where I won’t be excited hearing about a new Call of Duty game. Yeah I’ll admit, when Advanced Warfare came out I was pissed. I said that Call of Duty was dead. But shit was I wrong.. That game completely revolutionized video gaming (in my opinion). When I first heard of these dumb exo-suits I could have played in traffic blindfolded. When I heard that you could run on walls in Black Ops 3, I was ready to castrate myself. The games are so fast paced now. Yeah you’ll get the occasional douche laying behind a tree on Evac but other than that I like it. You need to be on your toes. And that’s a video game I like.
As for the Call of Duty series going nowhere anytime soon, I love it. “And they’ll be played on a variety of devices” *slaps dick on table*. What a power comment. Pretty much saying, whatever console you can possibly come out with we will make the best game you’ve ever seen.
I will be in my 90’s, soiling myself while eating blended waffles.. But best believe I will be playing Call of Duty. Thanks Bobby Kotick.
Editors’ Note: I still think Bobby Kotick is Lucifer in the flesh and will never thank him for anything. -Dom
