Stop What You’re Doing And Watch Star Wars: Squadrons’ New CG Short Right Now

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about Star Wars: Squadrons, EA’s latest licensed title that focuses exclusively on the heroic pilots of the Star Wars universe.

Just now, however, EA dropped a CG short that absolutely demands attention. Check it out:

“It’s not over yet… Not for me.” Chills on chills.

If this CG short is indicative of the type of tension, action, and storytelling that Star Wars: Squadrons is going to deliver, then I’m all in. Hell, if Squadrons’ campaign has 1/16th of the heart that this short has, we’re gonna be in great fucking shape.

The doubters, of which there are many, will try to tell you this game won’t be worth your time – and that just because it has EA’s logo on it, means it’ll automatically be terrible. But y’know what? EA and Motive are on a pretty fucking great streak as far as I’m concerned, and I can’t wait to see the final product in a few short weeks.

Star Wars: Squadrons comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 2nd.
