Streaming Viewership is Up 73% From Last Year AKA Business is Fucking Booming

According to Stream Hatchet, video game streaming viewership is fucking popping (to say the least). Their report states that viewership across Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming, and Mixer (before it went bye bye) grew 73% from Q3 of 2019.. Now weighing in at over 500 million weekly viewers.

Twitch is still leading the charge with 4.7 billion, YouTube is second with 1.7B, and Facebook Gaming just cracked a billy.

Are the numbers down a little bit since the beginning of COVID? Yes. But comparing where we’re at now in the streaming world to where we were last year is nuts. Gaming is only going to continue growing, and I’m happier than a pig in shit to see how close to the moon it gets.
