Twitch Donated $1M to DrLupo During His St. Jude Charity Stream. Over $2.3m Raised in 24 Hours

Ben “DrLupo” Lupo who is known for being the voice of reason, and a man of charity.. has raised over $2.3m in his 24 hour stream for St. Jude. A bunch of streamers big or small jumped in to support the charity stream from Ninja with $30k, to a fellow Twitch streamer “cckun91” who donated $37,777.77 – which was the biggest donation. But we can’t forget the viewers who donated as well out of the kindness of their hearts.

But that was before Twitch had a surprise for DrLupo that he opened up on stream. A check for $1m to St. Jude.

With the amount of negativity spewed on the internet, to be able to see good get done is really a breath of fresh air. And just like we saw a few weeks back with 100T’s Avalanche getting verified, it shows how powerful the video game community can be once everyone gets involved. Within 24 hours, a Twitch streamer raised $2.3 MILLION dollars. If this isn’t a testament to DrLupo being a beauty and building a bulletproof community, I don’t know what is.
