BlizzCon 2026 Day 0: I Don’t Think I’m Gonna Be Able To Film Here
I had a bad feeling about this.
For those not in the know, I’m live on the ground for BlizzCon 2026. First BlizzCon in years. My first ever. I’m pumped, I’m ready, but I don’t have a media badge. I had fully planned on coming out here just for pleasure, but as the day drew near… I found myself looking at my wardrobe, my ol’ black suit staring at me like the Green Goblin mask. BlizzCon is one of the super bowls of cosplay… Why wouldn’t I cover it?
Well, I’m here, I have the carpet, suit, and mic in tow… But I don’t think I actually can get coverage even if I really want to.
The problem, is that I have a normal badge. I didn’t apply for media because… Well… I kinda forgot. And honestly, I figured I might be able to film anyway since I’m only doing this for a pretty modest blog and social media presence, I’m not a major outlet like IGN or Barstool or whatever. However, the BlizzCon ticket holder agreement may have me over a barrel.

I think I might be fucked.
I’m going to ask some Blizzard personnel tonight when we pick up our badges, and if I can get some written permission handy… The show goes on. Either way, I’ll post some blogs about the show for the love of the game. You know me, it takes a little more than a paragraph or two of terms and conditions to keep the content at bay.
We’ll report back with more.
