Square Enix Just Announced A “Multi-Game Partnership” With Marvel/The Avengers #Reassemble

I’m gonna be honest here guys, when I opened the WordPress panel to fire up a new blog, it was gonna be about how Insane Clown Posse is planning to have a Juggalo March on Washington D.C. this September… But this sounds like something I should cover first. All I have to say is, if this is a goddamn Facebook game series I’m going to fucking loseeeeeee itttttttttttt. That being said, SquEnix and Marvel have also looped in Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics (creators of the phenomenal Tomb Raider reboots), so this may just very well be the makings of one of the greatest superhero video game series’ of all time.

I don’t wanna jump the gun here and set the bar too high for myself, but I think I already did. The trailer below has some interesting imagery. Busted shields, forlorn hammers, broken Iron Man gauntlets… What could this be? Is this a game where you create your own Marvel hero (oh god please say yes) or is it something different? We’ll just have to wait and see.
