Chris P Picks: CDL Week 2 London

The Call of Duty League is officially underway after an eventful launch weekend in Minnesota. 12 teams played in Minnesota to kick off their season. Tomorrow and Sunday (Feb 8-9), we’ll have eight of the 12 teams taking the trip to England to compete. And out of those eight, only Chicago and Paris enter with perfect 2-0 records. This is a big week of me riding the favorites, and seeing the fight to remain undefeated.

Here is where my money is this weekend.

Paris Legion (2-0) winning over New York Subliners (0-2) -175
Paris is rolling into this match 2-0 after taking down Optic Gaming LA and the London Royal Ravens week one. And, New York stinks. They only took one map in Minnesota against FaZe – other than that they got swept 3-0 by London. Before opening weekend, NY was predicted to be a top five team and totally screwed the pooch. I don’t see any cohesiveness on their side, and I don’t think they’ll be able to put it together in time for London. Hammering the favorite.

Chicago Huntsmen (2-0) winning over Los Angeles Guerrillas (1-1) -325
I simply cannot go against Hecz when it comes to him going against anything Los Angeles. How can you bet against a team that has Scump, FormaL and Arcitys? You can’t. And then add Gunless and Envoy into the mix. That’s a fucking ROSTER. If this team stays unpredictable they’ll win the whole thing. I’m going to ride with the Huntsmen until proven wrong. ACHES is going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder due to his past with Hecz and OpTic – I mean he’s called OpTic’s kryptonite for god sakes and the Huntesmen have three known OpTic faces, Scump, FormaL and Hecz. But think Scump and the gang will be ready.
