Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal Could Be As Soon As This Week, Insiders Claim

The Nintendo Switch 2 reveal could be much, much closer than we initially thought.

In his 2025 predictions video, gaming YouTuber NateTheHate stated “I have been told the Switch 2 will be released Thursday, January 16th.” … That’s just three days away from the publishing of this blog.

Nate goes on to say that he’s heard just a few “incomplete” details, but that the reveal will focus solely on the hardware itself, and that a larger software-focused Nintendo Direct will follow in February.

Now… I’m not sure what to make of all this, but it only makes sense for Nintendo to come down from their high horses and finally show us what every other leaker, factory, accessory manufacturer, and my fuckin mailman has been showing us for the past like three months.

Everyone and their mother knows that the Switch 2 reveal is coming sometime this quarter, and at this point I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Nintendo floating around as a leakier ship as they are right now. Their stubbornness to not just SHOW US the damn thing is honestly kind of insulting from a consumer perspective, but… I’m gonna buy it anyway regardless.
