Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Has a Trailer And It Rules Extremely Hard

So I’m sitting here screaming, puking, and crying after watching the trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the 20th time, and I REALLY don’t want to overreact here but… This is gonna be the best game ever made.

In the official announcement blog / interview on the Star Wars website, game director Stig Asmussen says that Survivor takes place in “dark times”, and that it is five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. “Cal and the crew are doing whatever it takes to stay alive”, he says. “That might mean that they are making connections with people that, in other times, might be considered unsavory.”

Folks, I’m not trying to get ahead of myself here – but this is gonna be the greatest game ever made.

No word yet on consoles, but my guess is that Jedi: Survivor will likely be built specifically on Unreal Engine 5, and that we’ll only see it on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5, and PC. We’ll find out for sure when the game releases in 2023.
