A while back, a German, business news website almost spilled the beans about The Division 2 coming out. This got all Tom Clancy fans all hot and bothered but there was no news that came to surface on whether it was true or not. Until now…
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have officially announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, is coming. In a news release Julian Gerighty, the creative director of Massive Entertainment said that he and his studio are working on The Division 2. For this project they are involving five, count em’, FIVE other studios. Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Bucharest, Redstorm, and Reflections.
No other information regarding the game was given, until today’s live stream on The Divisions official Twitch channel. Gerighty said:
“It wasn’t an easy decision, but there are so many stories and so many experiences that we wanted to explore within the world of The Division that we felt a sequel was the best way to explore these things,” he said.
No other information will be released and it seems like all the information that we need is going to be revealed at E3.
