Team Fight Tactics Coming to Mobile With Cross Play. Perfect Mobile Game Incoming
Dexerto – After first being announced during the League 10 celebration back in October 2019, TFT mobile is finally on its way. The portable version of Riot’s auto-battler will be available “in most countries” by mid-March, with pre-register open on the Google Play and Apple App Stores.
“While we’ve been busy working on PC, we’ve also been poring over how to bring TFT from PC to mobile in a way that feels intentionally built for the platform,” said Dax ‘Lunchboy’ Andrus, one of the game’s producers.
Ever since Team Fight Tactics came out, I was ranting about how this is the perfect mobile game. In my eyes, I don’t really think there is a better mobile game that an Auto Chess. It doesn’t require anything that you need a big, powerful screen for. Mobile games are exploding day after day. It’s astonishing. And with the name of League of Legends behind TFT it can be a mobilegiant. It’s already a huge game on PC, but now the people who’ve wanted to play, but didn’t have a PC are now going to get the chance. And with an Auto Chess, there is no advantage from being on PC compared to mobile. So allowing these two to play together should be seamless.
According to Twitch Tracker, TFT viewership is way down. Maybe the increased players from this mobile version will get eyes back on the game.
