Apparently The Xbox Series X Runs Hot Enough To Heat Your House
In a new video discussing his experience with Series X, Jeux Video’s Ken Bogard echoed others’ praise for the quietness of the console’s cooling system, but expressed surprise at how much heat the console emits as a result. He said (translated by VGC): “The Series X is hot, like really hot! It doesn’t make any noise, but damn it’s hot! The console is emitting heat like crazy. It’s almost like a fireplace shaft. You can heat up your flat with it.”

I’m not gonna sit here and complain about this because one, I don’t care, and two my PC bumps the heat in my room up 10 degrees. So it’s really not a big deal for me to have my room be scorching hot at the end of the day. It comes with the territory. But saying the Xbox Series X emits heat like a fireplace shaft is hilarious. Considering the Series X is kind of shaped like one. The thing is working hard, of course it’s going to heat up. As long as your shit isn’t going up in flames you’re chillen. Open a window, put a fan on, idfk.
It’s only a matter of time (probably currently happening) before PlayStation stans use this as a reason why the PS5 will be better.
Who cares, just play video games man. And now you don’t even have to put your heat on in the cold months. Just fire up and Crysis and get toasty.
