Boston Breach Unveil 2022-2023 Roster, Will Host Their First Home Major Next Year

It feels like just yesterday that the Boston Breach punched their ticket to the Call of Duty League’s Championship weekend during their inaugural CDL campaign, but we’re already on to the 2022-2023 season.

After weeks of teases, Oxygen Esports’ CDL franchise has finally unveiled the newest iteration of their roster for this upcoming season, and drop another huge announcement along with it.

Cue the fucking duckboards, because we’re getting a CDL Major in Boston. Hope you kids like traffic, Dunkin’ Donuts, and extremely loud sports fans – cause you’ll be swimming in all that shit when Boston Breach hosts CDL Major 2 in 2023. There are no set dates just yet for the event, but this past season’s second Major event in Minnesota took place in late March – so it’s probably safe to assume we’re looking at a trip to Boston for Major 2 once the snows melt away this spring.

Other big changes to Boston Breach include the addition of Owakening to the roster, after TJHaly and Breach chose not to seek an extension upon his contract’s expiration. This is the second major change to Breach’s roster following the replacement of Capsidal with Vivid earlier this year.

Best of luck to the hometown boys for their sophomore campaign starting in December – I can’t wait to see what Boston Breach has in store for us this year.
