Hector Rodriguez AKA H3CZ Announces He’s Leaving OpTic Gaming and Joins NRG

Big news in the Call of Duty world today… OpTic Gaming CEO Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez has officially announced that he is departing from the organization in a joint statement with Immortals Gaming Club who are the new owners. Below is the statement as posted on Twitter.

It really tugs on the heart strings because if you follow OpTic, you know that H3CZ lives, breathes, and eats OpTic. He cares so much and it just shows. And to think of OpTic without H3CZ in it, is just weird. “What will he do next?” the whole community is thinking. But don’t worry, he released this YouTube video.

And boom, H3CZ is joining NRG and the Chicago Call of Duty Team. The king is going back to Chicago and oh my tits am I excited for competitive CoD. Hector is going to have a colossal chip on his shoulder when his team is competing and it’s going to be a blast to watch. Regardless of what his role is, or how how big it is.. Just having a guy like H3CZ in your organization is going to pay dividends. An awesome guy, a veteran in the space, and knowledgable as shit.. It’s a win, win, win.

Best of luck H3CZ. NRG is lucky to have you. And Chicago is lucky to have you back.
