RUMOR: The Metroid Prime Trilogy Is Coming To Switch In Just A Few Weeks

Dip the quill twice in one day? Don’t mind if I do.

Multiple outlets are pointing towards a now-dead listing on Swedish website Inet, that claimed the Metroid Prime Trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 19th.

This isn’t even the first time Inet has “accidentally” listed the trilogy and removed it. Back in 2018, Inet listed the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch just ahead of The Game Awards, sparking tons of rumors that an official announcement wouldn’t be far behind. Well, that listing has been re-posted (and re-deleted) and even featured the same box art that was posted two years ago.

Sure, this wouldn’t have taken a criminal mastermind to forge via Photoshop, but a guy can dream. With Metroid Prime 4 clearly not coming any time soon, I’d be perfectly happy to get behind the visor as Samus in a few weeks via the Metroid Prime Trilogy if these rumors are to be believed.

Fingers crossed, kids.
