Xbox CEO Asha Sharma Says She’s Played The Elder Scrolls VI
Hot off the heels of a Halo release that generated exactly zero buzz, and just weeks before the first main-line Gears of War release in over 6 years, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma had this to say:
Cool.
Listen, I don’t wanna just funnel my rage all to Sony this week (though god knows they deserve it), so Xbox has gotta catch a few ricochet shots too. Gears and Halo are your original mascots. Halo Studios has nothing for us when it comes to new content, The Coalition’s upcoming release looks great – but is inexplicably dropping on console only and not PC, and Asha Sharma’s main concern is to let everyone know that Bethesda still has a pulse.

I don’t have the energy to crack open Photoshop right now so just imagine that says “Weekend at Bethesda” and it’s two devs holding Todd Howard up in the middle. It’s fine though, cause I’m sure Xbox will wheel ol’ Todd out next July for yet another riveting showcase in which we find out about the newest Fallout 76 DLC, Fallout Shelter cosmetics, and Elder Scrolls Online expansion. I like ESO, but let’s get real here.
I hope I’m wrong. I hope Asha (we’re on a first name basis) did play TES6, and I hope she was blown away by it. Asha herself has proclaimed that she needs to “become a better gamer”, so I’m not sure what her definition of “grandeur” is, but I hope we find out soon.
In the meantime, I’m not holding my breath. I do hope my grandkids like TES6 though.
