BREAKING NEWS: We’re Officially Attending As Media For PAX East 2017
Who’s writing this blog? Oh it’s just none other than your boy Papa Dom AKA Uncle Dommy AKA PRESS PASS PAPI. Yep. That’s right. Wicked Good Gaming has been officially accepted for media badges for PAX East 2017. We are officially members of the press, and we’ll be hitting the show floor harder than the moon in Majora’s Mask. As I said in a blog a few weeks back, we’ve been grinding our collective asses off for the better part of the last year to bring you unfiltered, unprofessional, and uncalled-for gaming news and opinions, and I’d like to thank all of you for the support you’ve shown us.
In the less-than-one-year since we launched, we’ve never compromised, we’ve never minced words, and we sure as hell have never filtered ourselves to appeal to a wider audience. We decided way back when WGG was just a twinkle in the three of our eyes that we’d do gaming journalism our way – and we haven’t looked back or second-guessed ourselves since then. And guess what? We never will. And now that we’re officially badged for PAX East 2017, you’re gonna keep getting the same Degenerate Journalism you’ve come to expect – live and direct throughout the whole show’s weekend. Pictures, videos, interviews (we hope), and tons of blogs just coming right at your face as fast as we can crank them out.
Chris and I have already been approved, and Rob’s lobbying for a day off from saving lives in Chicago to attend as well. No matter what, you’re gonna see some crazy coverage and please believe that episode of Not Another Gaming Podcast is gonna be insanity the following week. PAX is a fucking gauntlet. If you’ve attended as a vendor, media, or just a fan – you already know that. It’s a loud, fast, overwhelming beast of a show, and I’m insanely stoked to be there on our own volition as Wicked Good Gaming’s founders in a little over a month.
