Bad Boys For Life Officially Has A Trailer, And Its Goddamn Glorious
Sony just dropped the official first trailer for Bad Boys For Life, the third and final movie in Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s iconic action-comedy franchise. Check out the full trailer here:
In a world where almost every late-breaking, nostalgia-catering sequel to late 90’s/early 2000’s movies falls flat (Anchorman 2, Joe Dirt 2, Super Troopers 2, I could go on and on) – Bad Boys For Life has completely smashed that preconceived notion for me by delivering a goddamn glorious trailer.
The trailer opens with Marcus and Mike Lowry, still partners after all these years. Marcus definitely looks like he’s ready to retire, but Mike is still pulling up in silk shirts and new Porsches to this day.
The trailer is jam packed with all the signature explosions, shootouts, one-liners, and profanity that you’ve come to expect from the Bad Boys franchise, and I have nothing but high hopes for the full movie when it releases on January 17th.
