Marvel Burns SDCC To The Ground With Three Plasma Lava Magma Hot Fire Teasers

Marvel unloaded a series of awesome stuff at San Diego Comic Con this week and LORD JESUS THERE’S A FIRE!!! Marvel’s lineup for this year looks stellar (because of course it does), and if you don’t believe me – let me start you off with the first teaser trailer for Iron Fist below:

Pish posh. Just Danny fucking Rand kicking in concrete walls and getting ready to cave in some skulls. Iron Fist is gonna be so sick I can’t even wait. But what’s that, DC Comics? You’re not impressed? Alrighty. How about the very first teaser for The Defenders?

SURE. That’s cool, if you’re into that sort of thing. Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage teaming up to put all sorts of feet in all sorts of asses in New York City. I can’t even imagine the chaos that’s gonna go down in that series, but I have to admit that there was one trailer amongst the bunch that REALLY got me going more than the others… Cue the piano please…

OOOOH BABY I LIKE IT RAWWWWW, YEAH BABY I LIKE IT RAWWWWWWWW! YOU GET A CONCUSSION, AND YOU GET A CONCUSSION, AND YOU GET A CONCUSSION, EVERYONE’S GETTING A CONCUSSION! Luke Cage is officially on his way, with this impossibly badass trailer following up on the short teaser at the end of the Jessica Jones series on Netflix. I’ve been waiting for Luke Cage to make his own mark in the MCU for a long time, and I’m so glad Marvel’s directorial language and vibe is staying the same across all four of the Defenders’ individual series. I’ve only got one question… Is it September yet?
