NES Classic: Nintendo Re-Releases First Console With 30 Included Games

The NES is coming back to stores! Pick up the new mini NES Classic Edition on 11/11 w/ 30 included games! – @NintendoAmerica, via Twitter

This is not a drill! Nintendo just announced via their social media platforms that they’ll be re-realeasing their very first console, the NES, just in a much smaller package. According to BusinessWire, the NES Classic Edition will launch on Nov. 11 for $59.99. Don’t worry about digging up archaic cables to hook it up with though, the NES Classic will hook up to your HDTV using an included HDMI cable. The console will include 30 games (list below) and look like it includes most of the biggest that the NES featured back in its day.

How about Nintendo huh? Pokemon Go drops, sets the world on fire, jacks up Nintendo’s stock, and now they’ve decided to deliver even MORE fan service to the retro gamers that helped it become the titan it is today. This isn’t some cheap plastic knockoff that you get behind the counter at Walgreens, this is the real McCoy. The initial images look awesome, and I personally can’t wait to get my hands on one.
