Running a Website is a Blast

Hey everyone, it’s been a while.

You might be asking yourself – “Where the fuck’s the content been?” and y’know what, I don’t have a great answer for you. Kids were born, people have been sick, jobs have not slowed down – and yes, beers were consumed. The past few months have not been kind or forgiving to your favorite internet dad, and I truly want to say that I’m very grateful that you’re here reading this right now.

SO, what’s new? Well, a lot.

For one, the website crashed… Repeatedly. Our security certificate expired, and it was locked behind dozens of randomized credentials that our old pal Chris P. wrote on a mustard label and shoved into the back of his fridge for safe keeping. Once I tracked him down and got in, I went ahead and paid out of pocket for an automated SSL refresh service – because I love you guys! I then proceeded to Rage Clean the entire site. Stripped down old plugins, leaned out new ones, streamlined a bunch of stuff, ensured we have some semblance of a professional operation. Y’know, the goods. I don’t build websites, so aside from kindly YouTubers who know what they’re doing in WordPress, I’m on an island here when things go wrong. But we’re back now – and we’re faster, more secure, and more streamlined than ever.

I’ll be writing much more from here on out, I promise you that. I’ve never touched a cig in my life (that I can remember), but boy oh boy have these past few weeks been tempting me to take one for a ride. I am also working on some visual overhaul stuff, so bear with me on that. Having said all that, once again, thanks for sticking around. We love ya, and I’ll see you again real soon (probably tomorrow).

Smooches,

Dom
