Valkyrae Leaves Twitch For Multi-Year Deal to Stream Exclusively on YouTube
Valkyae, streamer and content creator for 100 Thieves, will be packing up from Twitch to stream exclusively on YouTube. This comes after fellow 100T creator, CouRageJD, left Twitch for YouTube on November 14th, 2019.
YouTube making some moves. First CouRage. Then Disguised Toast. Then Corrina Kopf. And now Valkyrae. The streamer wars continue, and who else to start going hard signing streamers than YouTube. If I had to guess, I would say that YouTube has the whole 100 Thieves roster in their cross hairs and the next singing will be BrookeAB.
It’s only a matter of time before organizations start signing contracts to streaming platforms and everyone under their umbrella will be obligated to stream on that platform. Once again, it’s a guess. But it would be easier for these streaming sites to save time, and get more eyes instead of going after individual steamers.
