Head of YouTube Gaming Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt Officially Leaving YouTube Gaming

Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt, the former head of YouTube Gaming has officially announced that he will be leaving YouTube for a new role at the end of February.

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t think the day would ever come that Fwiz would pack his YouTube bags – but here we are. Fwiz will be taking on a new role joining Polygon as the CEO of Polygon Studios. I’m not going to sit here and talk about crypto and all of that because to be honest, I can’t for the life of me grasp it. But it sounds sick, and is obviously something Fwiz is passionate about. I’m all for chasing that passion, and after seeing what Fwiz was able to do for YouTube Gaming, I have no doubt he’ll be able to do the same for whatever company he hangs his hat at.

Thanks for all of your work at YouTube, Fwiz. And thanks for being a friendly and transparent face behind the platform. Those are some big shoes to fill. Best of luck, GLHF.
