KFC’s Double Down Is Back, And It’s Bringing Hell and Diablo IV Beta Codes With It

You all know me well enough by now to know that I can’t resist a good fast food story, and this one is no different.

KFC’s Double Down is back after a decade-long hiatus, and so is Diablo. So what better match made in hell to promote Diablo IV than one of the most infamous sandwiches in culinary history?

Blizzard Entertainment is collaborating with restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken® to offer fans early beta access Diablo® IV, the next generation installment in the genre-defining series. One of the most anticipated games of the year, the title will be released on June 6, 2023.
Starting today through March 18th, customers who order KFC’s iconic Double Down, which made its triumphant return following a 10-year hiatus to KFC U.S. menus nationwide March 6, or any eligible sandwich at KFC.com or via the KFC App, will receive a code for Early Beta Access* to Diablo IV

Official Blizzard Press Release

If this isn’t the definition of an unholy union, then I don’t know what is.

I vaguely remember having a Double Down or two back when they first released, and honestly these days it’s probably someone on Keto’s most erotic fast food fantasy. Will I be going to KFC to grab one of these just so I can get a beta code? Of course not, silly – Blizzard already gave me one because my website is the shit. Will I be going to KFC to get one of these anyway? You bet your ass I am. What kind of journalist would I be if I didn’t grab one to make content out of it?

You can go to any participating KFC and get a Diablo IV beta code right now, and you’ll get some delicious fried chicken to go along with it. Stay hungry, folks.
