Super Mario 3D All-Stars Has Been Revealed, And Is Coming This Month!

You read the headline, folks – CUE THE TRAILER!

A Super Mario 3D compilation has been rumored for a while now. Being able to have four of the greatest 3D platformers of all time in Super Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and Odyssey – all on one console is absolutely unreal. I never truly finished Super Mario Galaxy, so I cannot wait for this. The collection promises “higher resolution versions and optimized, smoother gameplay experiences” for all three classic titles.

All of this was announced as part of Nintendo’s Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct, which was dropped on YouTube just a few minutes ago.

Along with Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to play the original Super Mario All-Stars later today via the SNES Virtual Console application that comes with the membership. They also announced a new version of Super Mario 3D Land “Bowser’s Fury”, and Super Mario 35, a 35-player… Battle Royale? Yeah. Weird morning. Great morning to be a Nintendo fan, though!

Super Mario 3D All-Stars comes to the Nintendo Switch family of systems on September 18th.
