WATCH: “The Mandalorian” Game Footage Is Either The Best Fan-Made Game I’ve Ever Seen, Or A Fully-Licensed Upcoming Title

I would like to preface this by saying – I have absolutely no clue what this is. This is either the smoothest and best looking fan-made video game I’ve ever seen, and this guy needs to be hired by Lucasfilm Games pronto – or we might be looking at a leak of an upcoming fully-licensed title based on The Mandalorian.

Like I said, I’m not sure if we’re looking at the genuine article here, but I am pretty convinced that one way or another the full build of this game needs to see the light of day.

The video was posted by user Christopher Turner on YouTube, who has a few other videos and livestreams on his channel where he builds games, designs assets, and chats about game design in general. He’s showcased footage and development progress of a game he’s designing that shares a very similar over-the-shoulder POV, so maybe this video is a final demo reel of a working build of that title.

I can’t find anything else on this guy, so I am unsure if Chris works for a major studio, is a very good game design student showcasing a new project, or just a guy who loves designing games in his spare time.

In any event… Pay this man his credits, and let’s get this game out there.
