Summer Jam 2021

Big E Gaming’s Summer Jam 2021 Tournament wrapped up this previous weekend. The tournament hosted a variety of games from Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Tekken, Guitly Gear Strive & More.

Players were excited to compete, this being one of the first ‘in person’ Tournaments since the Covid Restrictions. A sum up of the winners for games below

Guilty Gear: Strive; 1st place winner –  RIZE K7 Showoff

Tekken 7; 1st place winner – Disrupt Shadow 20z 

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition; 1st place winner – DTN NoNeedToTalk

Dragon Ball Fighter Z; 1st place winner – NYChrisG

Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate; 1st place winner – DF Grr

Hotashi to Moist

2021 NA EVO winner Hotashi and long time Guilty gear player signed with the StayMoist Org – Being run by a small time youtuber, you might know him by the name of ‘penguinz0’ ! 

I love watching Hotashi compete and am excited to see him in the EVO 2021 Showcase event where he will be competing for a piece of the $125,000 prize pool.

New Characters Revealed for Melty Blood: Type Lumina

The new installment of Melty blood will be hitting  consoles and PC at the end of this month but we still haven’t seen the full roster.

Well we just recently got to see two of the final additions. That being Ciel and Noel, watch their reveal here – 



Umbrella FINALLY release in Alpha stage for Skullgirls

We were promised Umbrella at the end of August from the developers of Skullgirls but as the end of August neared most fans had expected a delay.

Luckily they followed through and at the last half of the day on August 31st Umbrella finally joined the cast in her Alpha stage.

Skullgirls even joked saying ‘And you thought we wouldn’t hit that August window.’ !

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Release Date and Roster Peak

Finally we have a release date for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl via the Nintendo eShop, it will be will on October 5, 2021. Also thanks to the same eShop posting we now also have a look at some additional characters not yet revealed!

Avatar fans rejoice as it seem Aang and Katara will be join the cast.. along with Ren and Stimpy (You can tell who I am more excited about!)
