Overwatch League Players Fined $1000 For Typing Sex and Big Dick During Match. It Was a Compliment!

Los Angeles Valiant support, Mun “Lastro” Jung-won and San Francisco Shock DPS, Kim “Rascal” Dong-jun were fined $1000 by Blizzard, for inappropriate chat during a league match.

Lastro, then hit Twitter to get his statement. Claiming that he didn’t know people watching the stream could see it.

If this is a rule set forward by the OWL, then I agree that the fine should be there. It’s a rule, and rules are made to be followed…. or broken. But I’m on the side of the players. Sex isn’t anything that should be gasped at. We learn about it before we have armpit hair. And as for “big dick” comment? I think it was a compliment to the opposing team. And that should be praised. It’s called sportsmanship.

Let me break it down for you.

  • Rascal’s name, is Kim Dong-jun
  • Dong is another word for a penis
  • Rascal is from South Korea
  • Jun translates to King/Ruler or Handsome/Talented in Korean according to Google Translate

In conclusion, Lastro was either telling him he had a ruler sized dong, or that he has a handsome dick. It was a compliment.

Everyone has to relax.
