Pizza Shop Owner Uses Pokemon GO to Increase Sales 75%

L’inizo Pizza Bar of Long Island, NY paid $10 to acquire lures that drew a dozen Pokemon to the establishment. So many people came in that business surged by 75 percent.

“We had people come down, sit down, and get a couple beers and play the Pokemon game,” manager Sean Benedetti said. “We had people come down, sit down, and get a couple beers and play the Pokemon game,”

What strategic marketing. This dude is a genius. Sean Benedetti paid $10 to increase his sales by 75%?! That is fucking WILD. I guess I would do that too though. Find a lure, end up at a pizza shop, hammer pizza, slug cold ones, and walk out legless. There is nothing more inviting than seeing pink confetti shooting out of a Pokestop as it is. And now you’re going to show up to one and have a hot, fresh za sitting in front of you? A fridge filled with cold brew? That’s heaven.

I tilt my hat to you Mr. Sean Benedetti
