Skate 4 Could Finally Be Revealed In July
Skate 4’s reveal is right around the corner, if industry insider reports are to be believed.
Hot on the heels of the heartbreaking news regarding Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, industry insider Tom Henderson has reported that an official reveal for Skate 4 might be hitting the pavement as soon as next month.
Sources have suggested that Skate 4, or simply skate. will be revealed next month. It’s understood that the game has been undergoing extensive playtesting these past few months with the title being much further along in development than people may have thought.

Skate 4, stylized as skate. in it’s official announcement last summer, has been super under-wraps for it’s entire production cycle. Aside from some leaked pre-alpha gameplay footage back in April, details on Skate 4 have been extremely hard to come by. Not only has it been one of the best-kept secrets in gaming, but skate. might just be one of the most hotly anticipated sports titles of all time.
EA has previously said that four titles are on the way for Q4 of their 2023 fiscal year (which spans from January to March of 2023), and one of them is supposedly a “major IP”. Depending on the way you look at things, that IP may just be Skate 4.
Anything could happen at this point, but I’m just glad a new Skate title is on the way. I’ve been itching for the flashiness, customization, creativity, and the swagger of a classic skateboarding title, and I’m 100% positive that skate. has the potential to inspire a whole new generation just as the original did alongside Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
Oh, and you already know the soundtrack is going to have some BANGERS on it, right?
