Chicago Huntsmen Vs. Dallas Empire First Game of CDL Wrap Up
Chicago Huntsmen take down Dallas Empire 3-1 in the first game of the CDL. I was so excited this morning knowing that this game was happening. I couldn’t believe I was so excited. I felt like a little kid. Was this match up everything I hoped? Kind of.
I was happy with the game play. It was the match up that we all knew it was going to be. But it seemed like there are some kinks that need to be worked out on the production side of things. What the fuck is up with all the third person cameras? Huge fight going on at B? Let’s throw an overhead view of A site. You guys want to see K/D? Here are the players faces on respawn. Little things of course. But the UI is a big part for viewership. I’m sure the kinks will get worked out. I’m hopeful.
Scump and Formal (who was in his bag, as you can see above) mixed with Arcitys, Gunless, and Envoy is a very cohesive mix. Do they need some work for Search and Destroy? Absolutely. But on respawn they look solid as hell. Can’t wait to see them take on OpTic on Sunday.
Empire has some weapons. They’re going to be just fine. Crim and Clayster were solid as always. Shotzzy and Illey did their job. But Huke? This kid is a stud. My god. The young guy has game.
