Are We Getting Remakes of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2?

Activision insider and journalist, Sabi, says an Activision contact let them know that prototypes/demos of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 have been going around Activision. Nothing has been set in stone as to if we’ll get a full project, but it does seem that there might be some sort of interest to reboot this incredible series – or at the very least, using it to test for something else.

I wouldn’t hate it, and a Skateboarding game could hit different right now. Since everyone that has been waiting for the last nine years for Skate 4 to drop – and we finally got the heart breaking news that EA officially abandoned the trademark for the Skate series. This could be the opportunity for Activision to swoop in, and reclaim the thrown. Tony Hawk games were always such a fucking blast, and the sound tracks always banged. The graphics were in line with the times, but imagine them in today’s graphics? Forget about it. I think I can talk on behalf of everyone and say: If these rumors come into fruition, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 get remade, people are going to be happier than a pig in shit.
