Bethesda Reveals Surprise Launch of Ghostwire: Tokyo Next Month

In a huge surprise move, Bethesda has revealed the launch date of Ghostwire: Tokyo – and it’s coming next month.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will launch on PS5 and PC on March 25th. The game takes place in Tokyo, Japan, which has been invaded by a supernatural force known as the “Visitors”. Players will utilize the game’s unique Ethereal Weaving techniques to defeat the invading forces, in a combat system that looks reminiscent of classic anime works such as YuYu Hakusho.

Ghostwire: Tokyo looks absolutely gorgeous, and is packed with characters directly pulled from – and inspired by – Japanese legends and folklore. Bethesda calls the setting “a love letter to Tokyo, its curiosities, and secrets”.

I’m looking forward to defeating some Visitors, rescuing some spirits, and exploring the shit out of Bethesda and Tango Gameworks’ supernatural, neon-soaked vision of Tokyo when Ghostwire: Tokyo drops on March 25th.
