FIRST LOOK: Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake Is Here And He’s Perfect
Here I am, waking up nice and early at 7 in the morning to finish out the Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Access portion (which was excellent), then going on about my day as if nothing else exciting was going to happen.
Boy was I wrong. Out of the clear blue sky, Tom Holland just dropped the certified most liquid magma hot thirst trap of 2020 (and maybe 2021) by revealing the first ever photo of him in-costume as Nathan Drake.
Oh, Lord Jesus, there’s a fire! I know Tom Holland Stan Twitter is gonna be all over this one, and honestly I’m considering making a new account just to join them. I’ve been skeptical about Holland in this role (as have many others), but I’m convinced that he’s the right guy for the job after seeing him in Drake’s trademark getup.
What’s more, Nolan North was also brought to the set. This is presumably for equal parts consultation on how to be Drake, and perhaps also a ‘thank you’ for originally bringing the character to life. He shared a few set photos from the movie as well:
Uncharted (the movie) is slated for release on July 16, 2021, and stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake (obviously), as well as Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go take a cold shower.
